Information of the Department of Languages about Distance Learning

Dear colleagues,

We would like to provide you with some basic information before the start of distance learning, which starts on Monday, October 5, 2020 and is currently planned until October 31, 2020.

The Department of Languages will teach all seminars remotely via the Zoom platform and the Moodle application. In the shared Google Calendar, you’ll always find a link to Zoom meetings for each seminar. The password to your Moodle course will be given to you by the seminar teacher.

Attendance at seminars is obligatory and absences are governed by the rules for in-person classroom learning (for lessons held once a week, 2 absences are allowed, for lessons held twice a week, there are 4 absences allowed).

In SIS, for each subject, you will find information on midterms and conditions for “zápočet” for the period of distance learning.

For communication with lecturers, please use the email .

Thank you for your cooperation and patience. We hope we will manage this together.

Stay well and healthy!

Your Department of Languages
